The Secret 2006
Not
really a documentary, The Secret is more of a seminar
presentation
featuring a series of philosophers, doctors,
quantum physicists, entrepreneurs & spiritual practitioners
expounding on the powers of The Secret. The most well-known
presenters is Jack Canfield, author of Chicken Soup for the Soul
and The Success Principles.
What is The Secret, exactly? In three
simple words: thoughts become things. The Power of Positive
Thinking and how it can be applied to attracting happiness The
Secret: Extended
This new "extended" version of The Secret features
length movie presentation that has been passed throughout the
ages. This is The Secret to everything: to unlimited joy, health,
money, relationships, love, youth: everything you have ever
wanted. In this astonishing DVD all the resources you will ever
need to understand and live The Secret. For the first time in
history, the world's leading scientists, authors, and
philosophers: Carnegie, Beethoven, Shakespeare, Einstein reveal

Laws
of Attraction: Desires/Wants and Polarity/Energy Whenever you
form an intention that "desire" has two primary
components. The first component is the content of the intention.
It’s whatever you decide you want, such as a new career, a
better relationship, or to make more money.
The second component of an intention
is the energy you bring to your desire. Like passion,
gratitude or joy, the feeling is actually the result of the
energy. You know there is energy in your intention when you
connect strong feelings to your desire. People complain that they’ve
dutifully applied the Law of Attraction, but their intentions
aren’t manifesting. Stubborn believers will continue
beating their heads against the wall, using the same ineffective
approach even though it generates no results. Desire alone is not
enough!
The problem with desire that wanting
alone isn’t enough because energy is an essential component of
every intention. Wanting alone without energy won’t manifest
anything but frustration. So, how do you engergise your desires
and wants? Need and example of some high-energy
intentions, look no further than children. Kids are intention masters. When they really want something,
they’ll ask for it, they’ll jump up and down, and assuming
they don’t give up, kids are pretty darned good at manifesting
what they want. What kind of energy do you bring to your
intentions? Do you talk about your desires as if they don't
belong to you or so excited that you’re just glowing with
enthusiasm? Emotions measure your desire energy level.
The level
of emotions is how much energy you’ve managed to pack into your
intention. So what’s the real source of this
energy then? Your energy is already there you just need to
connect some of it with your intention. Consider how your home
appliances work? To get them to work you flip a
switch, creating a current and the electric field moves at the
speed of light, and you kettle start to boil right away.
Your
intentions work much the same way. The energy is already there.
You just need to get the current flowing in the right direction.
And this has virtually nothing to do with the actual content of
your intentions. To get your energy current
flowing you need to understand the concept of polarity.
Using the
electricity example. Imagine a battery. It has two terminals
which are polar opposites of each other, one positive and one
negative. If you hook the battery up to a circuit, electrons will
flow in one direction, thereby creating a current. If you flip
the battery around and hook it up the other way, you’ll reverse
the flow of electrons through the wires, creating an
identical current in the opposite direction.
So what does this have to do with
intention-manifestation? Well, the energy you apply to your
intentions also has polarity, much like a battery. It can flow
one way or the other way. You’ll know you have a strong
intentional current when you experience strong emotions. No
emotions means you have no current. Many people screw up their
intentional energy flow by trying to use both polarities in the
same circuit. You can’t do that and expect to get good results
with the Law of Attraction. It just won’t work.
Polarity is the key to understanding how to create
high-energy intentions. Thoughts have content and energy and
polarity is a property of the energy level. When we consider the
energy of a thought, we’re really talking about the energy
flow. But in order to have a flow, we need a direction. What are
the possible directions of energy flow? With respect, there are only two directions that make sense:
into your consciousness or out from your consciousness.
Energy
can flow towards you, or it can flow away from you. The
in-flowing energy has one polarity, and the out-flowing energy
has the opposite polarity. So here are the two basic energy flows: You to Universe (directing
energy from your consciousness to the universe) Breathing out. Universe to You (drawing energy from the universe into your
consciousness) Breathing in.
The polarity of every thought is
either outward or inward but never both. These two different
energy polarities are incompatible with each other. When you have
both polarities present at the same time and in the same
magnitude, they cancel each other so in effect you are working
against yourself. Not understanding polarity is a source of
tremendous frustration when applying to your desires since it’s
entirely possible to inject lots of energy into your intentions
but get little or no results because you’re mixing both
polarities together. Unfortunately it’s very easy to do this by
default. If you want to manifest a particular desire, you’ll
achieve the best results by picking a single polarity and using
it consistently. Polarizing your Intentions: An intention without
a strong polarity is very weak and has little power to manifest
An intention with a strong polarity is very strong and has
significant power to manifest To polarize an intention, you must
energize it with directional energy. The energy must either flow
outward or inward but not both.
In
this case you are receiving from the universe. Your dinner will
turn out best if you pick one polarity or the other and stick
with it. Try this exercise and see for yourself which works best.
To form a strong intention, think of that intention as either an
inflow or an outflow of energy. Are you primarily creating or
acquiring? It’s important to be crystal clear about which
polarity you’re going to use. If you can’t clarify your
intention in terms of the inflow or outflow of energy, you’ll
end up with a very weak intention that isn’t likely to
manifest. When you form a true intention, either you’re giving
something to the universe, or you’re getting something from it.
What’s important here is that you focus your intentional energy
on either one direction or the other but not both. Your attention
must be concentrated either on sending energy out or on drawing
energy in. Polarized: These concepts may be easier to understand
if you look at them from another angle: the emotional output of
polarized energy. If you apply highly polarized energy to your
intentions, you will experience a strong surge of emotion. But
that emotional surge will be totally different depending on your
choice of polarity. If you use the polarity of creation and
giving (outflow), you will experience a surge of related emotions
such as love, joy, and inspiration.
If you use the polarity of
acquisition and receiving (inflow), you will experience a surge
of related emotions such as greed, lust, and power. These
polarized emotional states are incompatible with each other,
which is what we’d expect as a result of the underlying
energies being incompatible.
The only way you’ll truly understand the significance of
polarity is by experiencing it. Whenever you observe yourself or
someone else in an emotional state, stop and take notice of the
energetic flow. What is its polarity? Is the
focus on inflow or outflow? The content of a thought is the raw
desire. If you form a desire to have a million dollars, the
content is the request for a million dollars. Even if the
original thought is highly emotional, the content portion is the
emotionless.
Desire is simply an
abstraction to help us better understand the energy component. So
how do you energise your desires?
