Men's Custom Made Shoes

This family-owned, shoemakers in Bologna, Italy, and widely known for its classy array of leather goods, Testoni created custom made  men's shoes in 1929. Among the company's many finely crafted shoe collections is the Amedeo Testoni line (named for the founder) stamped with feather images to  indicate their light weight are comfortable, flexible and crafted through Norwegian, Tyrolese and Rapid construction techniques. For $1,500 these men's shoes are availble at Neiman Marcus and  Testoni stores 

John Lobb designer men's shoe is owned by Hermès based in Paris and the renowned London shoemaker since 1979. John Lobb can be counted upon for some of the finest, most distinctive handmade shoes. Each St. Crispin's Day (Oct. 25) the company releases an exclusive, limited model that can only be ordered for one year. This special edition is a 5-eyelet Oxford with an intriguing butterfly cutout. Handcrafted from just two pieces of calves' leather, the shoe's finish provides deep, lustrous tones and subtle sheen. Available in black, walnut and two-tone walnut dark brown for $1,280 from the John Lobb shop on Madison Avenue

 

Edward Green makes its share of designer made-to-measure exclusive men's footwear. Founded in Northampton, England in 1890 the company makes only around 60 pairs per day. So as a representative notes, "We make simply the best shoes we possibly can." . The Dover Split Toe (seen above) are the shoemaker's signatures, as well as one of its most popular. Created from the finest dark oak calfskin and featuring a double sole, it incorporates a hand-sewn apron and a toe seam stitched together not by needle but with a pig's bristle. Available at the Edward Green London store in Old Burlington Arcade, as well as in Paris and in the U.S. at Jay Kos in Manhattan and at Saks Fifth Avenue. This Dover Split Toe costs US$1,075.00
